Beginning of end for Abhisit Vejjajiva ??

When a prime minister needs to hold a special TV broadcast to assure watchers that his government is united and in control its send out wrong message. as Thai New Year is on horizon the country locked in bitter political wrangle between red shirts and yellow shirts. How its going to end is the questions on everybody’s mind. The latest action from Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva shows that cracks has already started in his government. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva continues to assure that he is in control by insisting that his government, the army, the police and his coalition partners were united. But the Military appeared to be reluctant certainly after death of protesters.

They have been caught between ugly political melee between so called elite of Thailand and poor. This leaves Mr Abhisit with limited options. Analysts believe he is running out of options. For Last sixs months the warning signals has been coming for Mr Abhisit . First, the protest in April as they forced the cancellation of a summit of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (Asean) after storming the summit venue in the seaside resort of Pattaya. The protests turned violent on 11 April, when at least four soldiers and 17 civilians were killed in clashes as the army tried to disperse the red-shirts.

Thailand’s military always has found itself in the middle of political arena. They ousted Thaksin Shinawatra in September of 2006.But this time around division in Thai military is more visible than ever. Thai army chief said "The best solution of this is to dissolve the House. I don't want to intervene in politics but I guess the end will be a House dissolution. "Political problems must be solved by political means. House dissolution is a solution but that must be done after a clear time-frame is set." the massage seems loud and clear, its end of road for Mr Abhisit Vejjajiva. House dissolution is what so called red shirts demanding for long time. Their persistent seems to be paid in the end
